Chief Engineer
This is a unique C-level opportunity. Chief Engineer is a part of the core Ace team and takes a leading role in creating the vehicle, closely works with all members of the executive team including CEO with the purpose to be a technical lead for the vehicle, with responsibility for the planning and deployment of the design of components and integration of all systems.

Chief Engineer is a part of the core Ace team and takes a leading role in creating the vehicle, closely works with all members of the executive team including CEO with the purpose to be a technical lead for the vehicle, with responsibility for the planning and deployment of the design of components and integration of all systems.
Responsibilities
  • Refine leadership's product vision and communicate it to the engineering team
  • Lead, plan, direct, and control the activities for design, development, and release of Ace within established program objectives
  • Continuously and and proactively explore and identify areas of technological edge and excellence
  • Pitch technical solutions, trade-offs and innovations to the C-level team and other stakeholders including investors
  • Define technical resource requirements for successful execution
  • Maximise team performance
  • Provide technical expertise to the team
  • Ensure continuous personal and professional growth
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
  • Identify and implement business improvement opportunities

Qualifications
  • 10+ years’ experience in automotive, aerospace or robotics
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, including leading an engineering function with a proven track record in strategic engineering, leadership, delivering effective engineering strategies, policies, processes and systems
  • Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
  • Proven project management and supplier experience
  • Experience of operating and influencing at a strategic level
  • Knowledge and technical understanding of automotive processes, components and design techniques
Qualifications
  • 10+ years’ experience in automotive, aerospace or robotics
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, including leading an engineering function with a proven track record in strategic engineering, leadership, delivering effective engineering strategies, policies, processes and systems
